| October 28, 2011: As many of you know, there's a lot more to LEGO than just the cool building sets you can buy on your local store shelves. If you have ever wanted to learn more about all the interesting ways that LEGO is used and played with by people of ALL ages, all around the world, you need to get this book - The Cult of LEGO. The title may be a little ominous, but if you're reading this, you already know how amazing LEGO really is. You'll learn about everything from the history of the LEGO Company, to what it's like to go to a LEGO convention and see thousands of creations built by adult fans! You'll see incredible LEGO robots, and even see how LEGO is used for very serious business, technical, and engineering applications. Of course, you'll also read about how some people create LEGO art for a living (like Robin!) I really enjoyed the book, and recommend it to you! Find it online at your favourite bookseller, like Chapters or Amazon. |
